In Sweden ahead of schedule the hockey season due to coronavirus

The Swedish Ice Hockey Federation decided to end the national ice hockey championship early due to the threat of coronavirus spread. This is reported on March 15 by the press service of the Swedish Hockey League. It is noted that all men's and women's competitions are stopped. Thus, in Sweden this year winners of the national championship will not be determined, and teams will not be able to carry out transition between divisions. This decision was made at an extraordinary session on Saturday, March 14, which was attended by representatives of all hockey leagues of the country. We remind that earlier in France the national football federation cancelled for an indefinite period all football matches due to the threat of coronavirus infection.
