The President of Serbia received the ambassadors of Japan and Saudi Arabia

Serbian President Alexander Vucic held farewell meetings with Japanese Ambassador Junichi Maruyamu and Chania bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Momonah, Ambassador of the Non-Resident Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the Embassy in Sarajevo. Vucic thanked the ambassadors for their dedicated work during the diplomatic service in Belgrade, during which the political dialogue and economic cooperation of the two countries advanced significantly. This was reported by the Serbian news agency RTS. Vucic noted that the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the first such level three decades later gave a new quality to relations between Serbia and Japan, which is also manifested in a higher interest in Japanese investment companies in the Serbian market. He expressed satisfaction with the work of Japanese companies with the Serbs, because their way of working is an effective model of work ethics. In a conversation with the Ambassador, a non-resident of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Vucic thanked him for his dedicated work, for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations and, in particular, for his interest in promoting economic ties between Serbia and Saudi Arabia, which in their scale and quality are significantly lower than existing opportunities.
