Lukashenko: teachers are not corrupt, patriots

Alexander Lukashenko instructed the next opening campaign to develop new rules for admission to universities. He stated this on June 29 at a meeting with the country's pedagogical asset, the press service of the President of Belarus reports. Regarding the availability of our education, many copies are broken. It is surprising that individuals from politics, which at one time the state learned for free, advocate only for a paid form of training. This means that children from working families, even talented and smart, simply cannot afford such luxury as higher education, Lukashenko said. The path that many countries have chosen, dividing society into the elite and the working class, into those who are available and inaccessible the privilege of studying at universities, does not suit us. Earlier on this topic: Lukashenko demanded to reduce admission to Belarusian universities. According to Lukashenko, in Belarus, everyone, even from the outback, can become a student if he has the knowledge and desire to study. He ordered to bring into line with this principle the system of entrance exams, noting: When selecting the admission commission at the university, it is necessary to see a person, and not only (and not so much, maybe) the test result. The Minister of Education was instructed to work out this issue. See also: In Belarus, they do not see the need to transfer centralized testing. I must say that with the testing system to the best universities in the country, we cut off hardworking, capable youth whose parents, let's say bluntly, are not part of the elite of our country. They do not have business parents, big money. The system itself does not allow children to enter universities, say, from rural schools, where teaching is a little lower than in large cities in Minsk. Where there is no such tutoring that you can additionally get knowledge, Lukashenko admitted. Meanwhile: A bill has been submitted to the State Duma on the abolition of the exam in schools. Do not think that all teachers are corrupt, etc. Still, these are patriots, as we first said. So if these are patriots, they must, they know how to consider the future real citizen in the applicant. For testing, with all its positive qualities, we do not see this. Therefore, taking the best of the past system of admission to universities, the testing that we have already passed (bumps packed), taking all the best, the Ministry of Education is tasked with creating new rules for admission to universities by the next opening campaign, the press service of the President of Belarus quotes Lukashenko. The head of the republic ordered, as part of the work on the Education Code, to conduct a wide discussion of innovations as soon as possible. He promised: During the next five-year plan, we will definitely bring your salary to 150% of the national average. Also in the future five-year plan, Lukashenko promised to deal with the issue of providing students with dormitories. According to him, now this figure is 89.5%.
