Doctors from Germany arrived to help Kosovo in the fight against coronavirus

On Tuesday, September 22, a delegation of medical specialists from the Robert Koch Institute arrived in Kosovo. The delegation will consult, by 3 October, on effective methods of combating the pandemic COVID-19 for Kosovo colleagues. Follow developments in the broadcast: Coronavirus in the world: countries in search of a vaccine all the news According to the Albanian news agency Telegrafi, the delegation is working in the framework of the cooperation agreement signed by the Kosovo National Health Institute and the Robert Koch Institute in March 2018. The delegation included employees of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases and the German National Health Information Center. The World Health Organization and the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN) participated in sending the mission. Specialists will monitor the existing infection data collection system in the province, consult doctors working with patients with COVID-19, and may take part in the creation of a mobile laboratory in Kosovo.
