118 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 were registered in Mexico after detecting 25 more new infections, said the head of the Mexican epidemiological service José Luis Alomia on the page of the Ministry of Health of the country on Twitter. Alomia noted that another 314 persons under medical supervision had COVID-19 tests taken. He added that the authorities of the country continue to adhere to the scenario of the first phase of epidemiological control, but are gradually preparing for the possible introduction of the second phase. As the news agency reported, on March 18, the lower house of Mexico's parliament approved the creation of a fund of $7.5 billion to combat coronavirus.
