Jackie Chan to pay million yuan to coronavirus vaccine creator


The famous Chinese actor Jackie Chan reported that he would pay one million yuan (approximately $143) to the creator of the coronavirus vaccine. This is reported on January 9 by New Straits Times Online. The actor also indicated that he hopes that his offer will help get the drug faster and said that he also gives money for protective clothes and medical masks for his country. I don 't want to see empty streets that should thrive, the actor said and added that he also doesn 't want to see sad people who would be better off enjoying life. According to the news agency, earlier it became known that during the past Saturday, February 8, 89 more people died from coronavirus-caused infection in China. Thus, the total number of deaths about the new disease reached 811.
