About 60 citizens of South Ossetia plan to return from Russia to their homeland

The consular agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in North Ossetia was asked by some citizens of the Republic to help them return to their homeland. This was told on April 21 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Dmitry Medoyev during the meeting of the staff of the fight against the spread of coronavirus. According to him, it is about 60 citizens of South Ossetia. In turn, the President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov ordered the first group of applicants to miss April 22 and place them in the quarantine zone in the republican hospital. The headquarters as a living organism should work synchronously and coherently. It is not difficult to organize, Bibilov said. According to the news agency, earlier in South Ossetia to protect the population from coronavirus it was decided to close the border with Russia. Only representatives of Russian security agencies and drivers of heavy trucks who bring goods to the republic are missed. Citizens of South Ossetia are passed in groups of 10 people on advance lists. They are quarantined after their return to their homeland. It should be noted, in South Ossetia there are no detected cases of coronavirus infection.
