Kyrgyzstan authorities promise that there will be no sharp increase in food prices
There will be no sharp increase in prices for socially important food products in Kyrgyzstan. This was stated at the briefing by the director of the state agency of antitrust regulation Shukhrat Sabirov, the 24.kg reports. According to the official, the authorities of the country promise to prevent unjustified price increases, but if producers or suppliers settle their increase, the government may reconsider the issue of price changes in the larger direction. The head of the agency also noted that the authorities of the country recently expanded the list of socially important food products to include tea, fish, salt, buckwheat, millet, vegetables and fruits.
