Rouhani: Iran should sell crude oil


On April 17, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called on the Minister of Oil to accelerate the stabilization policy in order to increase the production of petroleum products through the sale of crude oil in huge volumes. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA. In a telephone conversation with Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zangan, the President praised the efforts of the employees of the Ministry of Oil and noted the sharp fluctuations in the world oil market, as well as the fall in prices: The acceleration of the Ministry's plans to increase the production of petroleum products and prevent the sale of raw materials could strike at the sharp fluctuations in the world market, and the decline in oil prices will help the economy stabilize. The President of Iran called the Iranian New Year the year of preparation and implementation of major infrastructure projects in the country and called on the Minister of Oil to put the main oil projects into operation this year in accordance with the schedule. Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh presented a report on the progress of oil projects, the world oil market and oil exchanges.
