Cases of COVID-19 in South Africa exceeded 19,000

During the day in South Africa there were 1,160 cases of COVID-19, the total number of cases was 19,137, on May 21 the Minister of Health of the country Zveli Mkhize on Twitter. The Minister also said that 30 people died of COVID-19 in the country during the day, the total number of deaths is 369. 8,950 people have been treated for the disease so far. The number of cases of COVID-19 in the Republic of South Africa is the highest among all African countries. The total number of coronavirus infections in Africa exceeds 96,000. Read also:
