The recovery of Georgia's construction sector from the crisis is possible only if investments are attracted. We have ready new projects, for the implementation of which an amount of 0.5 billion lari (more than $150 million) is needed, Rostomashvili said. He noted that European investors have been found who are ready to invest in the construction sector of Georgia, but so far developers are waiting for permission from the government. Rostomashvili also expressed concern that investors may not wait for the documents to be issued. We remind that measures to combat the spread of coronavirus in Georgia have led to a difficult economic situation. Since 5 May, construction companies, as well as enterprises that produce construction materials, have been allowed to resume work in the country.
