The immune system and blood: who kills coronavirus

The risks of death during the coronavirus associated with genes responsible for blood group and immune responses, found an international group of scientists. Researchers have found differences at the genetic loci of healthy people and those who are faced with severe symptoms of the disease. Probably these differences affect the ability of the virus to enter the cells and the risk of the body to deal with a cytokine storm that can lead to death.
