There are no strike groups: the deputy of the Rada explained why the Russian Federation does not invade

Russia's military invasion of Ukraine is unlikely in the very near future, said on the evening of July 6 on Ukrainian television, Rada deputy, member of the National Security, Defense and Intelligence Committee Sergey Rakhmanin. The deputy explained that when preparations are made for a real capture, special strike groups are created, which are currently not on the border of Russia and Ukraine. According to Rakhmanin, in principle, the formation of a huge group of Russian troops on the borders of Ukraine takes place, but it is slow and stretched in time. The deputy expressed the opinion that the situation with the oil crisis and coronavirus influenced Russia's military plans. the news agency recalls that on July 6, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov called numerous statements from Kiev about a possible invasion of Russian troops in southern Ukraine absolute stupidity. Peskov also called the information about the possible aggression of Russia against Ukraine an artificial escalation of anti-Russian hysteria. After that, the commander of the combined forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Naev said that at present there is really no immediate threat of invasion of Ukraine by Russia, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine should prepare for any scenarios.
