UEFA postponed the start of the use of VAR in the Europa League for a year


UEFA decided to postpone the start of using the VAR system at the group stage of the Europa League for another year, the organization's press service informs. It is reported that this decision is related to the situation around coronavirus infection. However, this does not exclude the presence of VAR in the playoff matches of the Europa League, the system will remain in the rules of the games for the departure of this and next season. Consequently, the use of VAR will enter into force with the start of the Europa League 2021/2022 season.
