88 coronavirus carriers identified in Macedonia per day


On August 5, the Ministry of Health of North Macedonia reported that over the past 24 hours, a survey of 830 people revealed 88 new cases of coronavirus infection. Another 113 patients were recognized as cured. This was reported by the Albanian news agency Telegrafi Maqedoni. According to the ministry, since the beginning of the epidemic, 11,289 cases of infection have been detected in the country, 511 people have died from complications caused by COVID-19. Six patients have died in the last 24 hours. 7,221 patients are already healthy. 3,557 patients are being treated. In anticipation of a new wave of the epidemic, the authorities are preparing the opening of 16 coronavirus hospitals. It is expected that in the near future teams of doctors from Sweden, Slovenia and Germany will arrive to help the Macedonians.
