Nine people became victims of the collapse of a warehouse in northeast China

The number of victims of the collapse of a warehouse in northeastern China reached nine, Xinhua News Agency reported on August 5. Nine people, as previously reported, were under the rubble of a warehouse of one of the groceries in the Daoli district of the capital of Heilongjiang province, Harbin, in northeastern China. The incident occurred around 8:55 local time on August 4. Rescue work was completed after the bodies of all nine victims were discovered at 4:50 local time on August 5. More than 350 people participated in the operation. The warehouse owner, tenant and landlord were detained, an investigation is currently underway into the causes of the incident.
